Cookies

Vidalo only uses cookies the site needs to work. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. This page lists exactly what we store on your device.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device so the site recognises you when you change pages or come back. The same applies to browser storage (local storage); we use none of it.
Which cookies we set
Every cookie below is necessary. No consent is needed for these; we do tell you they exist.
| Name | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| vidalo_consent | Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice and which choice you made. | 12 months |
| sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your account (Supabase, passwordless sign-in). | Until you sign out, at most 400 days |
| sb-…-code-verifier | During sign-in: ties the sign-in link from your email to this browser. | Removed once you are signed in, otherwise at most 400 days |
| vidalo_google_state | While connecting your Google Business Profile: protects that step against misuse. | 10 minutes |
| vidalo_preview | Only while the site is being built: shows you the site behind the ‘Coming soon’ page. | Until you close the browser |
Statistics and marketing
We measure nothing at the moment and set no third-party cookies. Should we ever keep visitor statistics, we will ask your consent first, with a refuse button the same size as the accept button. Until then there is nothing to switch off.
Other parties
When you pay you go to a Stripe page; Stripe's cookies and privacy policy apply there. When you connect your Google Business Profile you sign in with Google; Google's rules apply there. On vidalo.io itself we load no scripts, fonts or buttons from other parties.
Changing your choice
As soon as there is something to choose, ‘Cookie settings’ sits at the bottom of every page. It shows your choice and lets you change it. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
